# How to connect your checkout & get paid

Connect Whop, Gumroad or Shopify so buyers can pay for your product & receive it automatically. You only need one provider for your offer.

## Choose your checkout provider

| Gumroad | Simple setup with sales tax collection & remittance handled for Gumroad sales. | Platform fees apply on top of card processing for standard direct sales. |
| Shopify | More control over your store & useful if you already sell through Shopify. | A separate Shopify subscription is required. Payment fees depend on your plan & setup. |

Check that your provider supports your business location, product type & preferred payout method before connecting.

## Connect your account

**01.** Open your product's checkout setup in inkome.

**02.** Choose your provider & select **Connect**.

**03.** Follow the prompts to connect the correct business or store account.

**04.** Complete any required provider setup.

**05.** Review your product's price & delivery settings.

Your provider may require identity or business verification before you can accept payments or receive payouts.

## Check the buying experience

Before promoting your product:

* Confirm that the Sales Page links to the correct checkout.
* Check the product name, price & currency.
* Verify that the correct product file or access is delivered after purchase.
* Make sure buyers can find your support contact & purchase terms.

Test the purchase flow using your provider's supported options. Publish your Sales Page when the offer is ready.

## What fees will I pay?

|| inkome takes **0% commission** on your product sales. Your inkome subscription, provider charges & payment processing fees are separate.

Provider pricing can vary by country, payment method, currency & account terms.

* **Whop:** Use the fee schedule confirmed for your connected account. If you're offered an inkome partner rate, check its eligibility & conditions during setup. See [Whop's standard pricing](https://whop.com/network/pricing).
* **Gumroad:** Standard direct card sales have a 10% + $0.50 platform fee plus 2.9% + $0.30 card processing, totaling **12.9% + $0.80** before other applicable charges. Discover marketplace sales use a different fee. See [Gumroad's fee guide](https://gumroad.com/help/article/66-gumroads-fees).
* **Shopify:** In the US, Basic starts at **$29/month when billed annually** or **$39/month when billed monthly**. Standard online card rates start at **2.9% + $0.30** with Shopify Payments. Other payment methods, countries & third-party providers can have different charges. See [Shopify's pricing](https://www.shopify.com/pricing).

Check your provider's current offer. Special rates or volume discounts may change what you pay.

## Where do my payouts go?

Your connected provider handles your payouts. inkome does not hold those funds.

Check payout status & manage your details in the provider's dashboard. Timing depends on its settlement rules, verification, payout method & any account holds.

## What if a buyer can't access their purchase?

Check the order & delivery status in your connected provider's dashboard first.

Product refunds & payment disputes are managed through the provider handling the purchase. They are separate from your inkome subscription.
